About the Conference

We are thrilled to share that the National Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Conference 2025, presented by the Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative and VicHealth is returning in Melbourne from 11-12 November.

With support from VicHealth, the conference will address challenges, review best practices and explore how to improve access to health and wellbeing services for Australia's culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) population.

This year's conference theme, 'Shaping Tomorrow Together' is a call to action for unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in building a healthier, more inclusive future. Grounded in the strength of Australia’s rich cultural diversity, this theme recognises that lasting change comes from listening to every voice, honouring every story, and valuing every contribution. As a community, we come together—drawing on a wide range of experiences and traditions—to lay the foundations for a future that belongs to us all.

Stay in the know

Register your interest to stay up-to-date on the latest news and announcements from the National Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Conference 2025.

The National Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Conference acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of the lands on which we live and work across Australia. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We recognise their enduring role as cultural custodians and holders of knowledge on the lands we are privileged to be on. We recognise their continuing connection to culture, land, water, and community and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.

We believe multiculturalism begins with recognising the rights and place in society held by Australia’s First Nations Peoples and the rich cultural heritage that their communities have long nurtured. Our work on behalf of multicultural Australia has learnt from and been enriched by First Nations Peoples and organisations. We are committed to continuing to listen, learn and support First Nations Peoples in the journey to a more inclusive nation.
